Who We Are
​
The SEED Family Fund was founded as an expression of faith, service, and responsibility, rooted in the belief that to "whom much is given, much is required" (Luke 12:48).
​
What began as a family-led initiative started by Dr’s James and Caryn Amai Hobbs and their seven children, has grown into a purpose-driven effort to invest in the strength and future of underserved communities. Particularly children, families, and communities of color who have been historically marginalized.
 
Today, SEED continues as a living legacy, in honor of Dr. James Hobbs, carried forward with intention and care, to uphold a mission imbued with the spirit of the Most High God for the purpose of facilitating the spiritual consciousness and to provide equitable opportunities to grow and learn. SEED is a vision grounded in love, stewardship, and community uplift.
 
We believe that meaningful change begins with planting the right seeds, by supporting organizations and leaders who are deeply rooted in their communities and committed to lasting impact.
